The M-Audio
MicroTrak, as shown in picture, can digitally record on 8 mByte
Compact Flash chips. It can record up to 9 hours of 24 bit,
44.1 samples per second stereo WAV files. Inputs can be from
any mixer, studio mics, or compact mic shown in picture.
There
are several options for recovering your recording: The easiest,
and least expensive is connecting to USB2 port on your note
book computer, then transfer files directly to your hard drive.
Or I take recording home for tracking to a burned CD.
We can
make demo CDs masters for you to make your own copies. We can
master both music and art for CD production. Crystal
Clear studios is our best source for small run (100 copies).
Multi
Track Digital Recording
Our
new 24 track hard drive recording system works with our Digital
Live Sound System described under Sound.
It runs Software
Audio Workshop (SAWstudiolite) software from RML labs. It
taps each audio channel at preamp output, unaffected by any
EQ or Effects needed for the room. Recording happens without
interupting Live Performance. Later Each song can be extracted
from the continous recording of each set. These time aligned
.WAV files can be mixed down to stereo or sent to a studio for
processing. Your band can be as much of the mix down process
as you wish. This system is very portable. It can travel to
any venue or practice room your band chooses. Retakes, punch
in, fades, automation, add effects, change EQ are all at our
finger tips just like a huge studio analog console..
