For an additional $100, you bring your Portable USB powered hard drive (Western Digital PassPort terabyte is what I use). My Mackie DL32r can process up to 24 inputs of multi-track, tapped at Pre-Amp output creating a PolyWave file containing all tracks in one big .WAV file (24bit 48kHz samples per second). A band member has a record control iPad on a stand to manage record starts and stops per song.
You take your hard drive home for mixdown using most any of the current digital mixing software packages. (I use Apple product Logic ProX). Or you can bring project to my house for mix down on my Apple iMac at a cost of $25/hr.
